Job summary

RingCentral is seeking a Professional Services Lead Engineer to drive API and AI integrations within enterprise deployments of RingCentral's Unified Communications and Contact Center environments. You will lead complex API-driven projects, mentor engineers, and advise clients on digital transformation and AI adoption.

In this Level III role, you will own architectural solutions, contribute to API roadmaps, and oversee testing, CRM integrations, and POC demonstrations for large customers across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or technology is preferred.
• 5+ years in post-sales technical support or Professional Services in UCaaS/CCaaS.
• Subject matter expertise in 2+ UCaaS/CCaaS disciplines.
• Strong architecture background in contact center platforms.
• RESTful APIs, webhooks, CRM DB design, SIP/WebRTC, PBX, and AI IVR practices.
• JavaScript, HTML, CSS for front-end components.
• Experience deploying LLMs and conversational AI frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills for fast problem solving.
• Global time-zone coverage and autonomous work style.
• Strong communication to convey risks to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• API & AI Development: apply API concepts and AI/ML integrations to expand capabilities.
• Complex Integrations & Architecture: deliver API-integrated solutions and advanced data modeling across environments.
• Software Development Support: contribute to design, unit tests, and documentation.
• Testing & Quality Assurance: oversee UAT and integration testing for complex deployments.
• Senior Escalation Support: serve as the senior technical escalation point during rollout.
• Mentorship: lead code reviews and mentor other engineers on RingCX, RCCC API, and AI integration best practices.
• Strategic Consulting: advise enterprise clients on digital transformation and AI adoption.
• Pre-Sales Support: estimate level of effort for engagements and identify opportunities around automation and AI.
• Proof-of-Concept Leadership: lead technical POC discussions and demonstrations.
• Project Postmortems: participate in postmortems with PMO and provide recommendations.
• Roadmap Input: help define and prioritize the roadmap for developer API and AI functionality.
