Job summary

ResProp Management seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all service operations at our Fort Worth properties. You will lead a team, manage work orders, and safeguard a safe, well-maintained living environment for residents.

Responsibilities include coordinating repairs, training staff, evaluating products, and ensuring timely turnover and renovations. A strong maintenance background, EPA/CPO certifications, and mobility near the property are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of general maintenance/general repair experience, 3 years of apartment industry experience.
• Management experience required.
• EPA Universal certification required.
• CPO certification highly preferred.
• Trade skills including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliances.
• Trade Licensing preferred but not required.
• Tech savvy; efficiently use computers and basic software programs.
• Must have own tool kit.
• Must live within 30 minutes of property.
• Must have dependable transportation and be able to accommodate a rotating on-call schedule.
• Must be able to perform physical requirements of the job such as lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the service operations to ensure goals are achieved.
• Participate in completing work orders including repairing and replacing appliances, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide quality customer service to residents.
• Train maintenance teammates and help them reach their potential.
• Provide input to Property Manager on teammate performance and resident feedback.
• Assist Property Manager in recruiting and interviewing maintenance staff.
• Oversee organization of maintenance shop and property appearance.
• Evaluate current and potential maintenance products and tools.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work.
• Manage work orders, response times, and deadlines.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, and delivery of maintenance supplies.
