Job summary

Capstone Real Estate Services, Inc. seeks an Apartment Maintenance Technician to service resident requests and perform preventative maintenance across the property. Responsibilities include diagnosing defects, repairing, completing make-ready tasks for new move-ins, scheduling vendors, and documenting work orders.

You will help with grounds, upkeep, and be on-call as needed. A valid driver's license and technician certifications are required; Capstone offers medical, dental, vision, 401K, and

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance or similar facility maintenance is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service, diagnosing the defect or problem and making repairs in accordance with policies and codes.
• Completes the “make-ready” process to prepare vacant apartments by pre-move-in inspections, creating a punch list, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, and inspecting completed work.
• Follows procedures to access materials and track inventory, returning items to the proper location and notifying supervisor on re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to document service requests.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas and amenities through cleaning and minor upkeep tasks.
• Supports cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and using tools efficiently.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and on-call

Minimum One Year of Apartment Maintenance

AC Certification I and II
