Job summary

CAPSTONE REAL ESTATE SERVICES, INC. seeks an experienced apartment maintenance worker to handle work orders and preventative maintenance across the property. You will diagnose issues, repair to code, and perform make-ready tasks for vacant units, including inspections and vendor coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of apartment maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• AC Certification I and II.
• Criminal history check and drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects, repairing per policy and code.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacant homes, conducts inspections, and coordinates vendors as needed.
• Manages materials by tracking inventory, returning unused items, and notifying supervisor on reordering needs.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and follow-up.
• Maintains grounds and common areas, including cleanup and minor painting as required.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible and using tools correctly.
• Performs preventative maintenance and is willing to work a flexible schedule and on-call.
