Job summary

Unknown Maintenance team is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to uphold the upkeep of an apartment community, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction. You will handle repairs, preventive maintenance, and turnover tasks while delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities include timely service requests, HVAC/plumbing/electrical troubleshooting, and on-call coverage. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 pounds are required, with a strong focus on quality

Qualifications

• 3+ years apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, appliance repair, and general carpentry.
• EPA Certification (Universal or Type II) preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues efficiently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests promptly and professionally.
• Perform apartment turns, including repairs, painting, and punch-out work.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on community equipment and common areas.
• Maintain property appearance, including grounds and amenities.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and local building codes.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and inventory.
