Job summary

Mesh Connect, via Mesh Pay, is expanding into APAC and seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to own the merchant and payment partnership pipeline across Asia‑Pacific, focusing on Singapore, SEA, South Korea, and Japan.

You will identify, pitch, and close B2B deals with payment gateways, PSPs, acquiring banks, and crypto‑ready merchants, working directly with the APAC CEO and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in B2B sales or business development in payments.
• Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
• Deep familiarity with APAC payments landscape (SEA, Korea, Japan).
• Existing network in APAC merchant payments or PSP space.
• Mandarin proficiency preferred.
• Experience managing the full sales cycle independently in lean environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the merchant and PSP sales pipeline across APAC; identify, qualify, pitch, and close B2B partnerships.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of 20+ target accounts across Singapore, SEA, South Korea, and Japan.
• Lead commercial negotiations and structure partnerships with PSPs and merchant acquirers.
• Develop account plans; coordinate with Solutions Engineering and Product on technical requirements.
