Job summary

Mesh is hiring its first dedicated Corporate Development lead to own M&A and strategic partnerships, spanning the crypto payments ecosystem. You’ll build pipelines, run deals end-to-end, and collaborate with leadership, Legal, and Finance to shape Mesh’s growth strategy.

You’ll evaluate technical stack and regulatory considerations, partner with banks and advisers, and operate in an early, unstructured environment. It’s a high-impact role with ownership and rapid execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Finance or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in investment banking, growth, venture capital, product, or strategy roles, or in-house corporate development at fintech/crypto.
• Experience running M&A or strategic partnerships from first conversation through close.
• Strong understanding of fintech/payments landscape and regulatory stack.
• Comfortable evaluating crypto APIs and exchange integrations.

Responsibilities

• Build and own a pipeline of M&A opportunities and strategic partnerships across crypto payments ecosystem.
• Lead deals end-to-end from outreach through diligence, negotiation, and close.
• Perform rigorous diligence across financials, product architecture, API integrations, and commercial viability.
• Develop investment theses, deal frameworks, and scoring models for leadership review.
• Partner with Legal and Finance to structure and negotiate deals that close.
• Monitor competitive landscape and identify whitespace opportunities.
• Manage relationships with investment banks, advisors, and targets.
