Job summary

Jobgether, working on behalf of a partner, is seeking a Temporary Senior Accounts Payable Specialist based in the United States. The assignment lasts three months with potential extension, reporting to the AP Director.

You will manage daily AP tasks, wire/ACH payments, vendor onboarding, and support month-end close while maintaining accurate controls. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AP, strong Excel and ERP experience, and familiarity with Concur.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive accounts payable experience with independent responsibility.
• Strong GL coding, accruals and reconciliations understanding.
• Analytical problem solving and exception resolution skills.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables and lookups.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily AP operations including invoice intake, coding, approvals, and payments.
• Monitor deadlines and bottlenecks to prevent delays.
• Process invoices and Concur expense reports with proper documentation and approvals.
• Investigate discrepancies, duplicate payments, and vendor disputes; identify root causes and solutions.
• Review AP aging and support month-end close, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Prepare wire and ACH payments per approvals and internal controls.
• Onboard vendors, maintain vendor master data, and review W-9/W-8 docs.
• Assist with 1099 reporting and vendor compliance.
• Act as point of contact for employees, vendors and Finance colleagues.
