Job summary

ICON is building out its Austin campus finance team. We are seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to own the procure-to-pay cycle, ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time, invoices coded and approved, and the AP subledger clean for close.

You will drive process improvements in NetSuite and Coupa, partner with Purchasing on PO coverage, and support month-end close, 1099s, and vendor management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on accounts payable experience.
• Strong working knowledge of the procure-to-pay cycle including PO matching.
• Experience supporting the monthly accounting close with accruals and AP-to-GL tie-out.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end invoice processing across a high-volume, multi-entity environment.
• Execute payment runs via check, ACH, and wire; verify payment details and approvals.
• Manage three-way match between PO, receiving, and invoices; investigate discrepancies.
• Review expense reports and corporate card transactions per policy.
• Maintain vendor master file; onboard vendors and validate W-9s/bank details.
