Job summary

Precision Aviation Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Atlanta-based finance team. You will handle payment batches, verify dates and bank details, and issue remittances while maintaining tight internal controls.

You will work with ERP and banking portals, analyze AP data in Excel, and support reconciliations and reporting. A4–5 years of AP experience and strong communication skills are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Four to five years of accounts-payable or payment-processing experience.
• Experience in high-volume AP environment.
• Accounting or finance education preferred.
• Equivalents considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience with banking portals and ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process payment batches and banking-portal payments.
• Verify dates, amounts, and bank details before processing.
• Create and distribute payment remittances to vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Review payment files, invoices, and ledger records for accuracy.
• Resolve payment issues and exceptions with vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain payment records and AP documentation.
• Assist with AP reconciliations and reporting.
• Collaborate with AP Supervisor on priorities and process improvements.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Utilize Excel to analyze payment and AP data.
