Apex Logistics International is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable & Reconciliation Specialist in California to oversee vendor statement reconciliations, financial analysis, and disbursement controls across vendor accounts, ensuring ledger integrity and audit readiness.

You will collaborate with vendors and internal teams, analyze aged items, monitor settlement terms, and support liquidity planning while building models for ad-hoc analysis and assisting with audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
• 5+ years in Accounts Payable with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proficiency with Excel, SQL, Python and data visualization tools.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform reconciliations of vendor statements against internal sub-ledgers and resolve variances.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal operations teams to resolve billing discrepancies and timing issues.
• Analyze aged items, open balances, and disputed transactions to provide actionable recommendations.
• Monitor settlement terms, invoice validation schedules, and cash disbursement calendars to support liquidity planning.
• Build financial models for ad-hoc analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning.
• Assist with annual audits by preparing supporting schedules and responses to inquiries.
