Job summary

UMOS, Inc. is seeking a Senior AP/Payroll Specialist in Milwaukee to manage vendor invoices, payments, and payroll data entry. The role supports UKG timekeeping, Sage Intacct processing, and ensures timely, accurate transactions.

The position requires an associate degree in accounting or related field, prior AP/payroll experience, and strong analytical and organizational skills. On-site work, with a comprehensive benefits package and incentive possibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related area.
• Experience in accounts payable and payroll processing preferred.
• Proficient in Windows and Excel; knowledge of Sage Intacct and UKG is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and enter vendor invoices and credit memos; verify accuracy.
• Code transactions to the correct general ledger accounts and entities.
• Route invoices through approval workflows and resolve overdue items.
• Prepare payment selections and schedules; cut checks daily.
• Respond to vendor and staff questions and reconcile statements.
• Prepare AP reports and assist with month/year-end close.
