Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of payroll processing experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of accounts payable experience or 2 years of accounting/finance experience preferred.
• Union payroll experience is a plus.
• Construction industry experience is preferred.
• Job cost accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for union employees with accurate wages and deductions.
• Interpret collective bargaining agreements and apply to payroll.
• Validate timekeeping data with operations and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile payroll reports and maintain payroll records.
• Process AP invoices, match to POs, and issue checks.
• Track vendor statements and manage AP records.
• Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
