Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst II in Accounts Payable to support the AP Director in financial and operational activities.

The role focuses on improving processes, controls and reporting, with cross-functional collaboration across Finance, Supply Chain, Vendor Relations and Merchandising. The candidate will prepare weekly/monthly management reports, assist audits and develop analytical tools in Excel.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in Finance / Accounting, retail experience a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, GAAP controls, and inventory policies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Excel and data analytics tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly AP reporting and analytics.
• Support audits and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Vendor Relations and Merchandising.
• Develop financial models and templates in Excel for the team.
• Provide training and share best practices across the department.
• Escalate and resolve issues with stakeholders as needed.
• Assist with special projects and new business initiatives.
