Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Director of Accounts Payable to lead all AP activities for merchandise and expense payables, ensure timely close, and drive process improvements.

You will manage vendor relations, system testing, and monthly reporting in a fast-paced retail environment. The role requires 8–10 years in AP with 4–5 years in management, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and strong ERP/Oracle experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 8–10 years accounts payable related experience, including 4–5 years management experience.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Accounts Payable department across merchandise and expense payables.
• Oversee vendor master maintenance and deduction research & resolution.
• Implement and monitor controls, SOX compliance and monthly reporting.
• Mentor staff and hire/train personnel.
