Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to support daily and monthly analytical activities for accounting operations related to inventory. You will help maintain stock ledger accuracy, perform valuation and margin analyses, and coordinate with auditors across DCs and stores.

The role emphasizes data analytics, cross-functional collaboration with IT, Finance, and Operations, and strong Excel/Power BI skills to drive reporting improvements and close processes.

Qualifications

• Education in accounting/finance with professional credentials preferred (CPA/CMA/MBA).
• 2-4 years in inventory/accounting, analytics and reporting.
• Strong Excel, Power BI, and reporting tool proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain KPI reporting and Monthly Reporting Metrics.
• Ensure accuracy of stock ledger/inventory data and related controls.
• Support monthly close, forecasting, and variance analyses for Inventory Control.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors for SOX compliance and audits.
• Assist in physical inventories across DCs and stores and provide shrink reports.
