Cherry Bekaert LLP in Malvern, PA is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Consultant to provide hands-on AP support while stabilizing a Sage Intacct implementation and improving AP workflows.

The role requires strong Sage Intacct experience, ability to reconcile historical AP, and help transition to a new expense platform. Hybrid work preferred with remote consideration for highly qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on Accounts Payable experience, ideally at a senior/consulting level.
• Sage Intacct experience is required.
• Sage Intacct implementation or post-implementation stabilization experience strongly preferred.
• Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills, including cleaning up historical AP transactions.
• Experience improving AP workflows, controls, and processes in evolving environments.
• Ability to work independently and propose practical solutions with limited institutional knowledge.
• ADP payroll experience is a strong plus.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable activities including invoice processing, approvals, vendor payments, and AP recording.
• Reconcile historical transactions and payments from a legacy system to Sage Intacct.
• Research and correct missing, duplicate, misclassified, or inaccurately recorded invoices and payments.
• Perform invoice-to-payment matching and resolve outstanding reconciliation issues.
• Evaluate and improve AP approval workflows, internal controls, documentation, and contingency procedures.
• Support the transition to a new expense management/AP platform.
• Document processes and transfer knowledge to the longer-term accounting team.
• Assist with payroll activities as needed if experience permits.
