Job summary

Vallen is seeking an Sr. Accounts Payable Analyst to support complex AP processes across US operations, including vendor prepayments, RM research, and account reconciliations. You will work closely with procurement, COE, and AP leadership to resolve exceptions and drive efficiency.

The role requires 5–7 years in AP or related financial operations, experience with ERP systems like SXe/AS400, and strong Excel and communication skills to ensure accuracy and timely payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years in accounts payable or financial operations with reconcilation work.
• Experience with SXe, AS400 or similar ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve aged vendor invoices, debits and credits in SXe/AS400.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to fix discrepancies.
• Process vendor prepayments for US and Mexico operations.
• Analyze queues to prioritize high-value items.
• Lead process improvements with AP leadership.
• Maintain monthly reconciliations of AP accounts.
• Document procedures and train team members.
