Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct Accounts Payable experience required.
• Experience resolving complex AP discrepancies, not just invoice entry.
• Strong understanding of 3-way matching (invoice, purchase order, and goods receipt).
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier inquiries through email and phone communication
• Perform supplier account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Research and resolve invoice, purchase order, receipt, and pricing issues
• Work closely with vendors, purchasing teams, branch locations, and warehouse personnel to resolve AP exceptions
• Review vendor statements and aging reports to ensure timely payment and issue resolution
• Handle escalations and complex AP problem-solving activities
• Partner with offshore processing teams to resolve inquiries and exceptions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Analyze AP data using advanced Excel functions
