Job description

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a growing pharmaceutical/biotech organization. This is a full-scope accounting role supporting the Controller and contributing to the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Support audit and tax processes, liaising with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting policies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and compliance teams.
• Participate in special projects including system upgrades and process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s degree a plus.
• CPA or CPA track required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in pharma, biotech, or life sciences.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP; exposure to IFRS is a strong plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Compensation:

$95,000-$115,000
