Job summary
United Airlines is seeking a Senior Manager - AOG Operations to lead a 24/7/365 global team, ensuring rapid recovery for aircraft on ground and timely procurement of parts. The role drives strategic initiatives to shorten recovery time, reduce costs and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong leadership, supply chain knowledge and continuous improvement background are essential. Responsibilities include managing Loans, Borrows and Accommodation Sales, while maintaining service
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant/comparable work experience.
- 7+ years in Supply Chain and/or AOG/Logistics rapid response.
- 4+ years in supervisory roles.
- Experience overseeing multiple facets of Supply Chain.
- Minimum 2 years in AOG.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a 24/7/365 organization with global accountability for AOG operations.
- Develop strategic AOG initiatives to speed recovery and reduce costs.
- Oversee Loans, Borrows and Accommodation Sales functions and optimize related processes.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain planning, internal shops/OSVs and Procurement to identify root causes.
- Drive continuous improvement using data, trends and root-cause analysis.
