Job summary

ABX Air, based at Cincinnati CVG, seeks an Out of Service (OOS) Manager to lead aircraft recovery after maintenance events and AOG status. You will coordinate with DHL, Amazon ramps, and external vendors to return aircraft to service, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Lead operations across the CVG hub, establish RTS targets, manage parts routing, and deploy ABX technicians to outstations during urgent events, maintaining high performance under pressure.

Qualifications

• Aviation experience with progressive leadership in maintenance operations.
• Supervisory or managerial experience in aircraft maintenance or line maintenance.
• FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license is required.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with Netline OPS and MXI.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a high-stress environment.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct recovery operations for out-of-service events on Amazon/DHL ramps.
• Work schedule includes Friday/Saturday/Sunday 3/13 schedule.
• Set realistic RTS targets and keep Maintenance control updated during AOG events.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Vendors and other parties for a unified repair plan.
• Ensure safe and efficient repair plans to return aircraft to service.
