Job summary

Atlas Air Worldwide is seeking an experienced AOG line maintenance supervisor to lead the AOG travel team and ensure timely, safe aircraft support globally.

The role requires extensive Boeing-series maintenance, supervisory experience, and active FAA A&P certification. You will coordinate schedules, oversee training, and interact with MCC and other departments to enable on-time departures.

Qualifications

• Must hold FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
• 7+ years of transport-category aircraft maintenance experience (Boeing series preferred).
• 3+ years of supervisory/managerial experience.
• Unrestricted engine run qualifications on 777, 767, and 747 aircraft.
• Formal training on advanced systems/avionics on 777, 767, and 747 aircraft.
• Borescope qualifications on engines (CFM, Pratt & Whitney, or GE-90).
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise AOG travel mechanics as assigned.
• Coordinate personnel schedules to provide adequate manpower coverage for AOG and projects.
• Ensure personnel are trained and qualified per GMM policies.
• Monitor training, qualifications, and proficiency of maintenance personnel.
• Dispatch personnel for AOG support and coordinate with MCC Duty Manager and Materials.
• Maintain timely return of aircraft maintenance log pages to HQ.
