Job summary

Air Transport Services Group is seeking an experienced OOS Manager based near CVG to direct, coordinate, and expedite recovery of aircraft forced out of service. You will oversee operations across DHL and Amazon ramps, plus global outbase recoveries, with emphasis on parts routing, vendor management, and ABX technician deployment.

You will lead a team of supervisors, lead mechanics, ABX technicians, and third-party MROs, maintaining aggressive RTS targets and ensuring rapid return to service

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressive, hands-on aircraft maintenance operations experience.
• Seven years of supervisory or managerial experience in heavy or line maintenance.
• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), Netline OPS plus, and MXI.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays in high-stress conditions.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Manage out-of-service events on Amazon/DHL ramps.
• Work F/S/S 3/13 Schedule.
• Establish RTS estimates and update Maintenance Control during AOG events.
• Liaise with Engineering, Vendors, and assigned parties.
• Align all parties on ramp mechanics, ABX supervision, and ABX vendors to return aircraft to service.
• Provide oversight to CVG station Supervisors, lead mechanics, ABX mechanics, and third-party MRO vendors.
• Dispatch badge personnel across Amazon and DHL nodes based on fleet crisis demands.
