Job summary

Serco invites applications for a SME Anti-Tamper Engineer to support DoD AT activities at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. Role focuses on systems security engineering for advanced weapon systems and tamper-resistance technologies.

The ideal candidate holds a Top-Secret clearance with SCI/SAP access, a Master’s in Engineering, and extensive DoD experience. Travel up to 10% CONUS may be required. This is a full-time position in a high-security, mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET security clearance with SCI and SAP access; Continuous Vetting or recent background check.
• Master's degree in Engineering with 20+ years of relevant DoD/government experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD systems security engineering process, weapon system protection planning, and anti-tamper methods.
• Assess integrated circuitry, processors, and memory for reverse engineering susceptibility.
• Provide engineering support for technology acquisitions including RFP development and technical oversight.
• Review contractor proposals for design feasibility and system compatibility.
• Assess capabilities to meet system design requirements and specs.
• Collaborate with DoD labs and industry on vulnerabilities and protective measures.
• Identify technologies to protect CPI in program protection.
• Work with DoD Anti-Tamper Evaluation Teams to identify vulnerabilities.
• Assist efforts to improve AT/anti-exploitation design, development, manufacturing, and sustainment.
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in testing of systems and components.
• Conduct performance, supportability, risk assessments and scheduling tradeoffs.
• Create, staff, publish, and maintain security classification guides.
