Job summary

Serco Inc. (Serco) is seeking a SME Anti-Tamper Engineer to support DoD Anti-Tamper initiatives in the Special Programs Division, focused on weapon system security and protection of CPI.

The role requires active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP access, a master's in engineering, 20+ years of DoD experience, and the ability to travel up to 10% CONUS; you will assess electronics, reverse engineer components, and contribute to acquisition planning and testing.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET security clearance with ability to obtain SCI/SAP.
• Master’s Degree in an Engineering discipline with 20+ years relevant DoD experience.
• Minimum 3 years SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
• Ability to travel up to 10% CONUS.

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD systems security engineering, program protection planning and anti-tamper methods.
• Assess integrated circuitry, industry standard processors, and memory chips for reverse engineering feasibility.
• Provide engineering support for technology acquisitions including long-term planning, RFP development, and technical oversight.
• Review contractor proposals for design feasibility and system compatibility.
• Assess acquired capabilities in achieving system design requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with Service labs and industry Partners to assess vulnerabilities and lab exploitation capabilities.
• Identify technologies and evaluate system/subsystem design functions to protect CPI.
• Work with DoD Anti-Tamper Evaluation Teams to understand designs and vulnerabilities.
• Assist efforts to improve US weapons system anti-tamper/anti-exploitation design, development, manufacturing, training, and sustainment.
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in testing.
