Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an SME Anti-Tamper Engineer to support the DoD Anti-Tamper (AT) program within the Special Programs Division at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. You will apply security engineering processes to weapon systems and assess vulnerabilities in electronic circuitry.

The role requires an active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP access, a Master’s in engineering, and at least 3 years of SAP/SCI experience. Some travel is expected as part of program protection activities.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI and SAP access, with recent background investigation.
• Master's degree in engineering with substantial DoD experience.
• Minimum 3 years SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
• Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD systems security engineering process, weapon system protection planning, and anti-tamper methods for new, existing and future weapons systems.
• Assess integrated circuitry, processors, and memory for reverse engineering methodologies.
• Provide engineering support for technology acquisitions including RFP development and technical oversight.
• Review contractor proposals for design feasibility and system compatibility.
• Collaborate with service labs and industry partners to assess susceptibilities and vulnerabilities.
• Identify technologies and evaluate system/subsystem designs to protect CPI.
• Work with DoD Anti-Tamper Evaluation Teams to identify vulnerabilities.
• Assist efforts to improve AT design, development, manufacturing, and sustainment.
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in testing.
• Create and maintain security classification guides for the DoD AT community.
