Job summary

Serco is seeking a SME Anti-Tamper Engineer specializing in systems security engineering and microelectronics to support the DoD Anti-Tamper Executive Agent Field Program Office at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

This role requires active Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP access; travel up to 10% CONUS; and a Master’s degree with 20+ years DoD experience. You will assess circuitry, review proposals, and collaborate with labs to protect CPI and field capabilities.

Qualifications

• Active TOP-SECRET clearance with SCI/SAP access and a current background investigation within 5 years.
• Master's degree in an engineering discipline with 20+ years of DoD/government/contractor experience.
• Minimum 3 years of SAP or SCI experience within the last 5 years.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% (CONUS).

Responsibilities

• Apply DoD systems security engineering processes and anti-tamper methods for weapons systems.
• Assess integrated circuitry and memory for reverse-engineering vulnerabilities.
• Provide engineering support including long-term planning, RFP development, and oversight.
• Review contractor proposals for design feasibility and compatibility.
• Assess capabilities to meet design requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with Service labs and industry to evaluate vulnerabilities and exploitation risks.
• Identify technologies to protect CPI in program protection efforts.
• Work with DoD anti-tamper teams to understand designs and vulnerabilities.
• Assist improvements to anti-tamper design, development, manufacturing, and sustainment.
• Evaluate system test plans and participate in system/subsystem testing.
• Conduct performance, supportability, schedule, and risk assessments.
• Create and maintain security classification guides for the DoD AT community.
