Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Anti-Tamper Engineer specializing in microelectronics to support DoD AFLCMC/WAG-AT at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The role requires a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and involves evaluating, improving, and fielding anti-tamper technologies across DoD programs.

The position emphasizes reverse engineering of microelectronics, collaboration with service labs and industry partners, and ensuring CPI protection with DoD standards. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI access required.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree plus 12 years DoD/contractor experience.
• Master's in engineering with ABET degree plus 8+ years DoD/contractor experience.
• Minimum 3 years SAP and/or SCI experience within the last 8 years.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Assess microelectronics, integrated circuitry, processors, and memory chips used in military equipment.
• Exploit circuitry and memory components and implement reverse engineering methodologies.
• Collaborate with DoD labs and industry partners to evaluate susceptibilities of weapons systems’ electronics.
• Improve weapon system manufacture, operations, remanufacture, and de-militarization practices.
• Interface with DoD Anti-Tamper Evaluation Teams to identify vulnerabilities.
• Develop plans to assess security features of GOTS and COTS components for CPI susceptibility.
• Support technology acquisition efforts including RFP development and technical oversight.
• Assess capabilities against design requirements and specifications.
