Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI/SAP eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program with 12+ years DoD-related experience
• Master’s degree in engineering with ABET-accredited Bachelor’s and 8+ years DoD experience
• Minimum of 3 years of SAP and/or SCI experience within the last 8 years
• Willingness to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Assess microelectronics, ICs, processors, and memory chips used in military equipment
• Develop reverse engineering methodologies for electronic systems
• Collaborate with DoD labs and industry partners on vulnerabilities of weapons systems
• Improve weapon system manufacture, operations, and de-militarization processes
• Interface with DoD Anti-Tamper teams to identify design vulnerabilities
• Assess security features of GOTS and COTS components for CPI vulnerabilities
• Support anti-tamper design, development, and sustainment initiatives
• Provide technical oversight of projects and RFP development
• Evaluate acquired capabilities against system requirements
