Job summary

Makeshift Software Inc. is seeking a Senior Animator to drive both gameplay animation and prerendered cinematics for Hexborn. You will own animation passes from mocap cleanup to final polish, work on biped and creature rigs, and help maintain scalable control rigs.

This hands-on role emphasizes collaboration and consistent quality within our animation workflow. The position starts remote for 3–6 months, then transitions to a hybrid on-site schedule in Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• Animate gameplay moments and prerendered cutscenes in Blender.
• Take motion capture data through cleanup to production-ready animation.
• Animate on both bipeds and creature rigs.
• Build and maintain extensible control rigs.
• Collaborate with other animators to maintain consistency and hit quality standards.
• Work within animation tooling and workflow.
