Baxter is seeking a Principal Android Software Engineer to lead architecture and delivery of shared Android capabilities powering clinical product apps worldwide. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience, including Android apps.
• Proven experience leading technical architecture across multi-product platforms.
• Expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development (networking, DI, coroutines, CI/CD).
• Experience building reusable mobile SDKs, libraries, platform services.

Responsibilities

• Lead Platform Android Architecture and Delivery across multiple product apps.
• Own Cross-Product Platform Capabilities and secure device connectivity APIs.
• Enable Product Teams by publishing clear contracts and guidance.
• Raise Engineering Quality with testing strategy, CI/CD, and code reviews.
• Mentor senior engineers and drive cross-team collaboration.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, clinical, and product partners.
• Document architecture, design, and test documentation for regulated development.
