Job summary
Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Principal Android Software Engineer to lead architecture and delivery of shared Android capabilities powering multiple clinical product applications worldwide.
You will own significant portions of the Android system design and mentor engineers in a regulated medical-device environment. An ideal candidate brings deep hands-on Android expertise, a clear technical vision for multi-product platform software, and the ability to drive complex cross-team decisions
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software development experience with extensive Android app development.
- Proven experience leading technical architecture across multi-product platforms.
- Experience in healthcare or other regulated environments.
- Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead Platform Android Architecture and Delivery across multiple product apps.
- Own Cross-Product Platform Capabilities such as authentication, workflows, and device integration.
- Collaborate with product engineering, systems, hardware, and platform partners.
- Raise engineering quality through standards, reviews, tests, CI/CD practices.
