Job summary

CVS Health Digital is hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Android to build and maintain Android apps for CVS Health and Health100 (H100). You will work with cross‑functional teams on an agile squad to deliver features that enhance the omni‑channel shopping and pharmacy experience.

The role requires 5+ years in software development, 3+ years Android front‑end, and strong Kotlin/Java skills, Android Studio and the Android SDK.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software development for enterprise-class apps.
• 3+ years of Android front-end development.
• Experience with multiple device sizes (phones/tablets) and orientation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and deploy Android applications.
• Write efficient, well-documented code with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Java in Android Studio.
• Work in OOP and design patterns (MVVM, MVC, Strategy).
• Create core libraries and Android architecture.
• Work with concurrency (Thread, Handler, Coroutines).
• Collaborate with product, engineering and UX to shape Android features.
