Job summary

CVS Health Digital is seeking a hands-on Senior Software Engineer - Android to help deliver the CVS and Health100 apps. You will develop, test, and ship features in an Agile environment and collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to create a seamless omni-channel experience for customers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Android development, strong Kotlin and Java skills, experience with MVVM and Jetpack Compose, and a solid understanding of the full mobile SDLC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development for enterprise-class applications.
• 3+ years of experience working on Android front-end development.
• Experience with multiple device sizes including phones and tablets (portrait & landscape).
• Experience with the Android SDLC and Android SDK.

Responsibilities

• Developing, integrating and deploying Android applications.
• Write efficient, well-documented code with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Java in Android Studio.
• Apply OOP and design patterns (MVVM, MVC, Strategy).
• Create core libraries and Android architecture.
• Work with concurrency including threads and Coroutines.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and UX teams to enhance the Android app.
