CVS Health Digital is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer - Android to build and deliver Android applications as part of an agile, cross-functional team. You will partner with product, design, and engineering to craft seamless omni-channel experiences for our pharmacy and health care ecosystem.

The role drives code quality, performance, and scalable architecture, leveraging Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Java while shaping internal libraries and best practices across the Android

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software development
3+ years of experience working on Android front-end development
3+ years of experience developing for multiple device sizes (phone/tablet; portrait/landscape)
3+ years of experience and understanding of the Mobile SDLC using Android SDK

Responsibilities

Developing, integrating and deploying Android Applications
Write efficient, well-documented code with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Java in Android using Android Studio
Work in OOP and design patterns (MVVM, MVC, Strategy)
Create core libraries, application framework, and Android architecture
Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and UX teams to influence Android development
