Job summary

CVS Health Digital is hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Android to join a high-energy team delivering Android features for CVS and Health100 apps. You will develop, maintain and deliver Android applications, collaborating with product, design and engineering to ensure a seamless omni-channel experience.

You will apply best practices across the full software development life cycle and contribute to architecture, testing and delivery within an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development on enterprise-class applications.
• 3+ years of experience working on Android front-end development.
• Experience with multiple device sizes including phones and tablets (portrait/landscape).
• Understanding of the Mobile SDLC using Android SDK.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and deploy Android applications.
• Write efficient, well-documented code with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Java in Android Studio.
• Apply OOP and design patterns (MVVM, MVC, Strategy).
• Create core libraries, application framework, and Android architecture.
• Work with concurrency (Thread, Handler, Java, Coroutines).
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and UX teams to influence Android development.
