Job summary

Turo is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Android in San Francisco. You will join a growing Android team building features across the app and ensure top-quality code, testing, and collaboration with PMs, designers, and other engineers.

We ship daily, test extensively, and encourage experimentation. This hybrid role requires in-office presence 3 days per week (Mon, Wed, Thu) at our San Francisco office, with flexible collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of Android development experience.
• Fluent in Kotlin and Android SDK knowledge.
• Experience shipping Android apps on Google Play.

Responsibilities

• Develop features for a first-class Android experience.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to drive metrics.
• Produce high-quality, maintainable code, tests, reviews and shipping.
• Improve and scale architecture and app design.
• Ensure technical design and documentation.
