Job summary

Turo is seeking a Senior iOS Software Engineer in San Francisco to help shape a best-in-class iOS experience for our car-sharing platform. You will write high-quality Swift, use UIKit and SwiftUI, review code, and ship features daily while collaborating with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers.

You should have 5+ years shipping iOS apps, deep knowledge of Apple APIs, and strong communication. The role offers competitive base salary ($156k–$195k), equity, and hybrid in-office work

Qualifications

• You love developing iOS apps and have a real passion for the platform.
• 5+ years of professional experience shipping iOS apps available on the App Store.
• Fluent in Swift and versed in UIKit and SwiftUI; strong Apple API knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Use the latest technologies to enable a first-class iOS experience.
• Produce high-quality, maintainable code, test, review, and ship features.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to drive metrics.
• Diagnose and resolve bugs and scale the architecture as needed.
• Ensure proper technical design and documentation.
