Job summary

CVS Health, a leader in digital health, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Android to join the Pharmacy Consumer Wellness group. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver Android applications and shape omni-channel experiences for CVS Health customers.

You will develop, test, and ship features using Kotlin/Jetpack Compose or Java, applying MVVM and modern Android architecture while collaborating with Product, UX, and Backend engineers in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software development for enterprise-class applications.
3+ years of experience working on Android front-end development.
3+ years of experience developing for multiple device sizes (mobile & tablets, portrait & landscape).
3+ years of experience with the Mobile SDLC using Android SDK.

Responsibilities

Developing, integrating and deploying Android Applications.
Writing efficient, well-documented code with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose / Java in Android using Android Studio.
Working in OOP and design patterns such as MVVM, MVC, Strategy, etc.
Creating core libraries, application framework, and Android architecture.
Working with concurrency including Thread, Handler, Java, Coroutines and scheduling techniques.
