Job summary

CVS Health Digital is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Android to join a fast‑moving, cross‑functional team. You’ll develop, test and deliver Android applications within an agile environment, partnering with design, product and back‑end engineers to create a seamless omni‑channel experience for customers.

The role focuses on Kotlin/Jetpack Compose, Java, MVVM architectures, and scalable Android frameworks.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• 3+ years Android front-end development
• Experience with multiple device sizes (phones/tablets, portrait/landscape)
• Experience with the Android SDLC using Android SDK

Responsibilities

• Developing, integrating and deploying Android Applications
• Write efficient, well-documented code with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Java in Android using Android Studio
• Work in OOP and design patterns, such as MVVM, MVC, Strategy, etc.
• Create core libraries, application framework, and Android architecture
• Work with concurrency including Thread, Handler, java, Coroutines and scheduling techniques
• Work with Product Management, Engineering, and UX team members to influence the android application development
