Job summary

CVS Health Digital is hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Android to develop, maintain and deliver Android applications within an agile team, collaborating with design, product, and back-end engineers to create a seamless omni-channel experience.

You will work with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Java, implement MVVM and other patterns, optimize for multiple devices, and participate in code reviews, testing and CI/CD pipelines to ship reliable features.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development for enterprise-class applications.
• 3+ years of Android front-end development.
• 3+ years of experience supporting multiple device sizes (phones and tablets) in portrait and landscape.
• 3+ years of experience with the Android SDK and Mobile SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Developing, integrating and deploying Android Applications
• Write efficient, well-documented code with Kotlin/Jetpack Compose/Java in Android Studio
• Work in OOP and design patterns, such as MVVM, MVC, Strategy, etc.
• Create core libraries, application framework, and Android architecture.
• Work with concurrency including Thread, Handler, java, Coroutines and scheduling techniques
• Work with Product Management, Engineering, and UX team members to influence the android application development
