Robinhood Markets, Inc. is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to own end-to-end features for Government Products from concept to launch.

You’ll partner with product, design, backend, and data teams to deliver scalable, secure Android experiences for a highly regulated space in New York City. You’ll mentor peers, champion best practices, and contribute to a high-performing, fast-moving team focused on democratizing finance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java, and strong Android SDK knowledge.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines & Flow or RxJava, Retrofit, and Room.

Responsibilities

• Build intuitive, elegant, and stable Android features using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs.
• Lead the full lifecycle of product features from ideation to release.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and Data teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and elevate team standards and collaboration.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability in a highly regulated space.
