Job summary

Robinhood is seeking a Senior Android Engineer for the Crypto Expansions team in New York or Menlo Park. You will build end-to-end Android experiences for new regions, handling onboarding, multi-currency wallets, and translations infrastructure to support global launches.

You'll collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and Data Science, mentor peers, and help set architectural direction. The role combines hands-on coding with influencing long-term platform choices in a fast-paced fintech

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Proficient in Kotlin and/or Java with Android SDK and MVVM.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow or RxJava, Retrofit and Room.
• Strong collaboration and mentoring skills; capable of guiding peers.

Responsibilities

• Build intuitive and stable Android experiences using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Lead full feature lifecycle from design to release.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and Data Scientists.
• Champion code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior developers and raise team standards.
