Robinhood Markets, Inc. is seeking a Senior Android Engineer for Event Contracts in New York City. You will build high-visibility mobile experiences, collaborating with Product, Design, Backend, and Data Science teams to deliver scalable features.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java; strong Android SDK and MVVM patterns.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines & Flow or RxJava, and libraries like Retrofit and Room.
• Strong collaboration and product-focused mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor peers and influence architecture decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Build intuitive, elegant, and stable mobile experiences using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs.
• Lead the full lifecycle of product features—from ideation and design to implementation, testing, and release.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and Data Scientists to deliver impactful solutions.
• Champion engineering best practices ensuring code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior developers and raise team standards and collaboration.
