Job summary

Robinhood is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer for the Government Products team in New York, focused on expanding access to financial services as part of a historic national initiative. You will build secure, scalable mobile experiences and ship features for retirement accounts and account management.

You will collaborate with product, design, backend, and data teams to deliver reliable functionality, improve performance, and contribute to design discussions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional iOS engineering experience building and shipping production mobile applications.
• Proficiency in Swift and modern iOS frameworks and architecture patterns.
• Experience collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to deliver customer-facing features.
• Ability to improve application quality through testing, performance optimization, and maintainable practices.
• Strong communication during design reviews, planning, and code reviews.
• Experience with financial systems, payments, or account-related platforms preferred.
• Position restricted to US citizens or lawful permanent residents.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain iOS features supporting retirement accounts, account management, and onboarding.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data teams to deliver reliable mobile functionality aligned with goals.
• Improve performance, testing practices, observability, and release processes for the iOS platform.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and implement scalable mobile architecture patterns across codebase.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and collaborative processes to support reliability.
