Robinhood Markets, Inc. is seeking a Senior Android Engineer for Government Products to build scalable mobile experiences.

Based in New York, NY, you will own features from concept through launch, collaborating with Product, Design, Backend, and Data teams to deliver secure, high-quality Android experiences in a regulated space. You will mentor peers, promote best practices, and help shape the architecture of our Android platform while delivering reliable performance across devices and networks.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong Kotlin and Java skills with Android SDK and MVVM architecture.
• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines/Flow or RxJava, and Retrofit/Room.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent.
• Excellent collaboration and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Build intuitive Android experiences focusing on performance and reliability.
• Lead features from concept through launch and coordinate with product/design/backend.
• Mentor junior developers and elevate team standards.
