Job summary

Global Connect Technologies seeks an experienced Bluetooth software engineer to implement and maintain the Android Bluetooth stack for automotive infotainment. You will lead debugging and triage for CarPlay and Android Auto certification, and drive Bluetooth SIG certification across software and hardware releases.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA and OEM partners, to ensure reliable in-vehicle connectivity and smooth certification workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software development focused on Bluetooth technologies within an Android environment.
• Proven experience implementing and debugging the Android Bluetooth stack (AOSP, Fluoride, Android framework/HAL).
• Direct experience with Apple CarPlay and/or Android Auto certification, testing, and issue resolution.
• Direct experience executing and successfully completing Bluetooth SIG certification.
• Strong debugging skills with rapid issue resolution in automotive connectivity environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement, integrate, and maintain the Android-based Bluetooth stack for automotive infotainment systems.
• Investigate, triage, and resolve issues identified during CarPlay and Android Auto certification tests.
• Own rapid bug triage, root-cause analysis, and resolution for Bluetooth connectivity in vehicles.
• Drive and execute Bluetooth SIG certification processes for vehicle software/releases.
• Collaborate with infotainment, QA, OEM/Tier 1 partners, and certification bodies to ensure software stability.
