Job summary

Baxter seeks a Principal Android Software Engineer to lead architecture and delivery of shared Android capabilities across clinical product apps worldwide. You will own major portions of the Android system design, mentor engineers, and set quality standards in a regulated medical-device environment.

The role requires deep Android expertise, a clear technical vision for multi-product platforms, and the ability to drive cross-team decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, EE, or related field.
• 10+ years of software development experience including Android.
• Experience leading technical architecture across complex mobile platforms.
• Expertise in Kotlin and modern Android development.
• Experience building reusable mobile SDKs and platform services.
• Hands-on experience with cameras, connected devices, or hybrid apps.
• Healthcare or regulated software experience.
