Newrez LLC in Maryland is seeking a Senior Strategic Analytics Analyst who leads data-driven decision making across the organization. You will uncover key drivers of performance, build actionable insights, and communicate clear narratives to senior leadership.

You'll work with large datasets, partner with executives, and guide strategic direction through analytical modeling, prioritization, and storytelling to influence business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Experience working with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Sigma, or similar).
• Proven experience leading structured analysis to identify trends, drivers, and insights.
• Strong ability to translate analysis into clear, actionable insights and narratives for senior leadership.
• Experience applying analytical and modeling techniques to real business problems.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex analyses to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities that inform business strategy and decision-making.
• Develop clear, structured narratives that explain what is happening, why it is happening, and what actions should be taken for senior stakeholders.
• Partner proactively with stakeholders to define key questions and shape analytical approaches.
• Own ongoing analysis of performance across key areas (e.g., recapture, lead flow, conversion, revenue).
• Apply and refine analytical techniques to prioritize opportunities, including segmentation and decision frameworks.
• Lead analytical workstreams from problem definition through delivery.
